  • My coaching philosophy is built on the belief that true progression in skydiving and tunnel flying comes from a balance of technical precision, mental resilience, and joy in the process. With thousands of hours in the air and the wind, I’ve learned that every flyer whether beginner or elite benefits most from a tailored approach that meets them at their current level, while challenging them to go further than they thought possible. I emphasize strong fundamentals, clear communication, and playful repetition, ensuring that each skill is not only learned but understood deeply enough to be applied under pressure. Safety and discipline are non-negotiable foundations, but I also believe in cultivating creativity, adaptability, and flow, so people can express themselves in the sky and in the tunnel.

Coaching, to me, is about more than teaching skills. It’s about mentoring to become independent, mindful, and passionate flyers who carry their learning well beyond the tunnel or dropzone.

With Over 14,000 Jumps Rob’s expertise lay in Angle flying, Vertical Flying, Big ways, Tunnel Flying and all things Parachute. But your’e only as good as your last jump and you have to survive to do the next! So stay humble and vigilant.

Memorable jumps for Rob are ones that he finds connection in. As for many skydiving is an extension of our own family’s “I especially love Tandems with my wife and a group of friends to share what was already the biggest passion of my life before we met.

What drives him in skydiving is a personal pursuit for a perfect jump, bringing others along on the journey and learning together as a whole. Luckily that is ever changing as both Rob’s understanding and the community’s grows and adapts, so perfection can never truly exist. A never ending persuit, always learning and striving to be our best.

“I see being part of Fluid Dynamics as a big Catalyst for that pursuit. We as a community can speed up our learning and understanding by skill sharing. The team has a vast collection of memories and backgrounds to provide a meaningful insight to so many aspects of skydiving. Safety third. First fun, you need a good idea! Second friendship, life is better with friends. And third make the idea safe with those close friends.”
